Key dates

• October 2–9: Ballots are mailed to every active registered voter.
• October 26: Last suggested day to mail your ballot back. Also the last day to register and still get a ballot in the mail. After that, register and vote in person.
• Tuesday, November 3 (Election Day): Ballots must be received, or you must be in line to vote, by 7:00 p.m. Postmarks don’t count.

How to vote

Colorado votes by mail. Every active registered voter gets a ballot in the mail.

1. Check your registration at GoVoteColorado.gov. Update your address if you’ve moved.
2. Fill out your ballot, sign the envelope, and return it by mail or at any Weld County ballot drop box. No postage needed at drop boxes.
3. Prefer to vote in person? You can register and vote in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center, including on Election Day.

24-hour drop box: Evans Community Complex, 1100 37th St, Evans. Open October 2 through 7:00 p.m. on November 3.

Vote in person: Trinity Lutheran Church/School, 3000 35th Ave, Greeley.

Ward 3 boundaries

Ward 3 is the western third of Evans. Its eastern edge runs down 29th Avenue from the north city limit to Prairie View Drive, then west along Prairie View Drive to where 35th Avenue would extend, then south to the south city limit. Everything west of that line, inside city limits, is Ward 3.

Who votes in this race? Only registered voters who live in Ward 3. Every Evans voter chooses the mayor, but council seats are ward by ward: you vote only for the candidates running in your own ward.
